OptCam is a camera for taking the photograph of high resolution, and a photograph with few noises with cameras with low resolution, front cameras, etc., such as iPod touch /iPad. Furthermore, it can adjust brightness, tone, and acute in real time. Photography mode has five kinds, Normal, 1 Shot, 4 Shots, NR Shots, and ADDShots. At present, the real-time preview by photography mode cannot be performed, and is reflected only in a processing result. The outline in photography mode is as follows. 1. The Normal is the usual photography. 2. The 1Shot is photoed and is extended to 4 times the size of horizontal x2 and vertical x2 by interpolation processing. Processing time starts a little for interpolation processing. 3. The 4Shots is taken the photograph 4 times, and enhanced to 4 times the size of horizontal x2 and vertical x2 by synthetic processing. In order to compound the photograph which carried out the seriography, when camera shake and a photographic subject move, image quality deteriorates. 4. The NR Shots taken the photograph 4 times, synthesized, and the noise is decreased. The ADDShots taken the photograph 2 times, and make it bright by a compositing process. This mode is for photoing a dark place. It will become unnatural if it uses for photography of a picture bright from the first. Photography size can be set up as a maximum of 7 it is Low, Medium, High, 352x288, 640x480, 1280x720, and 1920x1080. The resolution which can respond changes with devices in use. For example, in fourth generation iPod Touch, it is as follows. Low: 192x144 Medium: 480x360 High: 1920x1080 (rearCamera) 1280x720 (frontCamera) 352x288: 352x288 640x480: 640x480 1280x720: 1280x720 1920x1080: 1920x1080 (rearCamera) Moreover, insufficient memory may arise depending on photography mode and resolution. Processing becomes heavy, so that it is high-resolution. When it cannot respond, a warning dialog is displayed and it is changed into Low resolution. Usage is very easy. If it starts, a photography screen will appear. With the button of the screen upper part, selection of photography mode, picture resolution, and a Front/Rear camera is made. Moreover, when a Rear camera is chosen, it is the Torch button and a flashlight emits light. Brighter, Vivid, and Enhancer of a screen lower part, are chosen, a slider is adjusted, and it is made a favorite picture. If a shutter release is touched, a photography picture is processed and a processed photograph is saved to a camera roll. After preservation processing finishes, it returns to a preview screen again.
